FOR THE (most recent from my perspective) TIME, I don't think it's evil :/
...more like a parasite maybe, but a nice and helpful one. Like a conjoined twin.
I imagine it evolved mind-controlling capabilities in order to survive. I don't think it's smart enough to be evil. Cute couple.
